Digital Vineyard

Turn scattered notes into wisdom you can share.

Phone, notebook, voice memos, emails to yourself. The Digital Vineyard is how I bring my notes into one system, connect them, and turn them into something I can write, teach, and share.

Scattered

Notes end up everywhere.

Notes land in the phone's notes app, the notebook in the bag, a voice memo from the car, an email we sent ourselves, a highlight we meant to reopen, the meeting notes from last week. We keep capturing, and so little of it comes back when we need it.

Stop collecting information. Grow in wisdom.

I'm not collecting notes just to have more notes.

The system

Plant Ideas. Cultivate Connections. Harvest Wisdom.

I think of my notes as a Digital Vineyard. It's not just a place where I collect information. It's a place where ideas are planted, connected, cultivated, pruned, and eventually turned into something useful.

I catch ideas in one place and connect them to what I already know. When something grows out of that, I harvest it and share it with the people it can help.

Illustration of a vineyard at golden hour. Glowing glass cards hang among the vines, labeled New Note, Scripture, Quote, Note, Lesson, Research, Idea, and Wisdom, with glowing grapes on the vines. Above them float four more cards: Connect, Discover, Organize, and Reflect. Below the ground, glowing roots link cards labeled Memory, Connection, Foundation, and Legacy. A carved stone in front reads Digital Vineyard, Plant Ideas. Cultivate Connections. Harvest Wisdom.
How I picture my notes: one vineyard, all connected.

How it grows

From a quick note to wisdom.

A stage is a claim about what I owe a card, and only I can make it.

  1. Seed

Whatever I catch during the day ends up in one place, so I'm not hunting for it later. Some notes are just seeds. They may not mean much when I first capture them, but over time they can connect with something else and begin to grow.

  2. Vine

This is where my thinking builds on itself. Some ideas become vines. I keep coming back to them, adding new thoughts, examples, research, and experiences. The more connected they become, the more valuable they become.

  3. Fruit

This is where my notes turn into something other people can use. The fruit might become an article, a framework, a business idea, a lesson, a decision, a project, or something that changes the way I live.

References

A reference I look up again, like a verse, a quote, or a source. It exists to be linked to, and it is complete as it stands. It waits until something I'm writing reaches for it.

Some things need to be pruned. Not every note needs to stay. Sometimes growth means removing what is no longer useful so I can focus on what is producing fruit.

The rhythm

What it takes in a busy week.

Daily
Nothing. There is no daily vineyard task. I capture the way I already live. Capturing is not a chore I owe the vineyard.
Three times a week
About twenty minutes. Ten of my own cards come back for the week. I work three or four each session.
One question per card
"What should this connect to?" Then I add the links.
Harvest
If something shipped, I log it by hand. Done. That is the entire ritual.

Skip a few sessions and the Seed count rises. Two weeks of catch up clears it. Not a crisis.

Where this stands

It isn't open yet.

I'm still deciding what shape this takes, so there's no price and no date here. What I can say is who it's for: busy people whose notes are everywhere and not working for them. Join the list and you'll be the first to hear when it opens.
